Organic or Not Organic?
We origin our oils from micro independent manufacturers in India, China, South East Asia , Eastern Europe and the Southern Mediterranean region. Where feasible we try to source from organic manufacturers who farm and crop with conscience. These people are often cultivating plants in a smaller holding sites and as such cannot afford to devote their land to organic production. They often grow the plants for essential oils alongside vegetables and fruit for sale to the local marketplaces, ans as such trust on local food markets and purchasers – and in a poor country their purchasers cannot afford to pay off a premium when they themselves are living on on a hand to mouth footing. These people can see ‘organic produce’ as the opulence of more blessed nations.
